Title III- Limited English Proficient
Students who demonstrate a limited proficiency in English are provided with services by Ohio County Schools.
English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction is provided to students by a trained ESL teacher. At the same time the classroom teacher uses "sheltered" instruction to modify classroom instructions.
Once students acquire proficiency in English, they are exited from the program and monitored for one year.
