Miller thanked Liberty Distributors, McKinley Architecture and Engineering and Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration for partnering with Ohio County Schools in the presentation.

The opening session is the official beginning of the 2023-2024 school year with Ohio County Schools employees returning for professional development. School system administrators were introduced to members of the school system’s professional and service staffs. Miller said she was excited for the opening sessions, and she expects great things from students and staff members during this school year.

“This is such an exciting time every year,” Miller said. “We have amazing teachers and staff members, and I truly love welcoming them back every year. They care so much for our students, and our students are going to have an amazing 2023-2024 school year.”

The first day for Ohio County Schools students in grades 1-12 is Aug. 22.
