WV Grows
Park View Farms, part of the WPHS Agriculture program, has done it again!!!! First, they became partners with the Public Market in Downtown Wheeling where their tomatoes, peppers and eggs are currently sold. Now, they are official members of WVGrown!

Agriculture is solidly embedded within the rich history of West Virginia. Students in the agriculture program at Wheeling Park High School take great pride producing freshly grown products. These are products that our consumers can readily purchase. The WVGrows program, started in 1986, is a way to assure consumers that the products they  buy are grown or processed here in West Virginia.

Park View Farms can now proudly use the logo to signify that produce, eggs, and any other products they sell are grown or produced in West Virginia.

Mr. Ethan Bloomfield, agriculture teacher and Park’s FFA advisor, has been instrumental in bringing this all to fruition.  His commitment to the program and previous professional background have cultivated partnerships from which our students will gain knowledge. Their experiences within this program will provide opportunities they can apply after they graduate and begin their careers.
