Multiple schools earned a PBIS trip to the ice skating rink this week!
PBIS, or Positive Behavioral Interventions or Supports is an evidence-based program that recognizes the need to support students behaviorally, academically, socially, and emotionally. All Ohio County Schools recognize the importance of PBIS, and every school has a PBIS program to fit their needs!
The purpose of PBIS is to recognize positive behaviors in order to continually promote a safe school environment. PBIS programs often give students short-term and long-term goals. We aim to help students recognize positive behavior and reach their goals every opportunity we get!
