“I learned hard work and dedication. I learned that when you are doing what you love, it doesn’t feel like work,” Melissa Ceo, class of 2006, states of her experience at Wheeling Park High School.
In her time at WPHS, Melissa was heavily involved in music, speech, and theater, crediting Mr. Cornforth and Ms. Adams for their influence.
Melissa graduated from West Virginia University with a MA in Communication Studies in 2012. Prior to that, from 2008-2009, she used the skills learned during her time at WPHS in the national tour of “Oliver,” traveling in performing throughout the country and Canada.
Ceo was previously the Chief Operating Office at CA House, and is currently the Director of Communications and Community Outreach for Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley.
“Collaboration made a big school a whole lot smaller,” Ceo states of her time at WPHS.
