We just stopped by Mrs. Forshey’s class at Ritchie Elementary School.

Not only were these 2nd graders crushing their sequencing writing, but their handwriting!? WOW.

They are currently perfecting their life cycle of a pumpkin writing, but don’t worry, they assured pumpkins are OUT and Christmas trees are IN.

🎄😅

An example of sequencing? Here is Avah’s essay:

🎃 A pumpkin has a life cycle.  First, the pumpkin begins as a seed.  Next, the seed turns into a sprout.  Then, the sprout grows into a long vine.  After that, some yellow flowers grow on the vine.  Finally, a green pumpkin forms that will later turn to orange. 🎃

Amazing work, Mrs. Forshey and kids!
