A crew of our phenomenal behavioral technicians and specialists recently presented at OCALI, or Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incident Disabilities.
According to their site, OCALI “connect[s] and collaborate[s] across the lifespan, across agencies, and across the world."
Ohio County Schools presented an hour-long session entitled “Using Behavioral Skills Training to Teach De-Escalation Routines to Young Children.” Over 150 attendees joined the session.
Dr. Nicole Shepherd, OCS Behavioral Specialist, states, “We were really excited to share the work we have been doing for students with challenging behavior in Ohio County Schools. We are thankful for the opportunity to engage with a large audience of professionals who work in the special education field.”
Thank you to this amazing team that is always finding ways to share what is best for our students.
