Ohio County Schools Superintendent Kimberly Miller welcomes West Virginia School Building Authority Executive Director  Andy Neptune to Elm Grove Elementary School

Exciting improvements are taking shape at Elm Grove Elementary School!!!

Ohio County Schools Superintendent Dr. Kimberly Miller visited the school today, and she thanked West Virginia School Building Authority Executive Director Andy Neptune, Director of Architectural Services Dana Womack and Assistant Director of Architectural Services Tommy Young for taking part in the school’s weekly construction progress meeting.

The project involves the construction of an eight-classroom expansion, updated security and a new gym floor. Ohio County Schools Director of Operations David Crumm said the project is moving along smoothly, and Elm Grove Principal Rick Dunlevy said the work has not impacted the school’s daily schedule as students returned on Tuesday.

The project is expected to be complete in August 2024.
