As a JUNIOR, Brennan Wack proved his ability to elevate a team through positivity, grit, and sheer athleticism. As he finished the football season, the evidence was clear.
Wack now holds Wheeling Park High School records for single game rushing yards (342 yards), single half rushing yards, and single season rushing yards (2,258 yards). He is tied for the season touchdown record.
His strength throughout the season led to Wack being awarded the prestigious Kurt Warner Award, given to the best running back in the state, and the Big 22 Player of the Year Award.
Wack’s dedication isn’t limited to the field: he is an honor student at Wheeling Park High School and a member of the Drug Free Club. He also runs track, competing in sprints.
Athleticism removed, if you ask anyone that knows Brennan to describe him in a few words, the sentence is always similar: “He is such a good kid.”
Wack is interested in health sciences and physical therapy, and expressed an interest in continuing his football career at the collegiate level.
We are so lucky to have a student like Brennan at Wheeling Park High School! Throughout his experience in Ohio County Schools, first as a Woodsdale Elementary School Tiger, then as a Triadelphia Middle School Raider, Wack has shown what #TogetherWeAchieve truly means. We look forward to watching his continued success.
