On Monday, July 27th's Board of Education Meeting, Ohio County School recognized several employees that have announced their retirement or have retired during the 2025-2026 school year. The combination of professional and service staff have nearly 500 years of service to Ohio County Schools.
The board recognized the following for their years of service in Ohio County: Ellen Culler (39 years), Stephanie Ferguson (30 years), Amy Minch (32 years), Tracy Mosca (28 years), Debra Parsons (25 years), Karen Perkins (17 years), Peggy Rogers (30 years), Tracy Salm (30 years), Wendy Seidewitz (20 years), Cynthia West (14 years), Wendy Suter (27 years), Cheryl Williams (42 years), Gregory Armstrong (14 years), Marcella Brammer (12.5 years), Sheryl Burris (10 years), Christa Davis (20.5 years), Brenda Sine (21 years), Amy Speaker (32 years), Kathleen Stefanow (21 years), Trina Weitzel (12 years).
“These employees gave so much to their school community and to our students. Our county is better because of the legacy they have left,” states Ohio County Schools Superintendent, Dr. Kim Miller.
In addition to the recognition, all retirees received a WVSSAC lifetime games pass, a personalized gift, and a certificate. “We wish all of our retirees a wonderful new chapter in their lives,” states Miller.
