Emma Romanek has been selected as the 2021-2022 Triadelphia Middle School Teacher of the Year.
Romanek joined Ohio County Schools at the start of the 2019-2020 school year as a science/math teacher at Triadelphia. TMS Principal Anne Coleman noted that Romanek was a student at Triadelphia. Coleman said Romanek is a role model for Raider students and staff members.
“Ms. Romanek stepped seamlessly into her role as a teacher at her former middle school,” Coleman said. “She has been a positive example for her students and her colleagues. She is always smiling and has a "can-do"attitude. We are excited that she now works beside her former teachers and continues to inspire a new generation at TMS.”
Romanek said she was excited to learn that she was selected as Triadelphia’s teacher of the year. She said she loves teaching, and she is proud to work with the school’s students and teachers.
"I am greatly humbled to have been named Triadelphia Middle School's Teacher of the Year. I am surrounded by so many great educators, so to have received this recognition is a true honor. As a middle school student, I attended Triadelphia, so to be back teaching is just the most amazing thing. It brings me great joy to see my students in our classrooms and truly enjoying learning."
