Warwood School concluded its Wellness Fair on Thursday with a series of speakers who addressed a number of important issues. Viking students paid close attention to virtual presentations from WVU Extension Service Community Development Agent Cheryl Kaczor, who addressed “mindfulness,” Adolescent Health Initiative Coordinator Melody Osborne whose presentation was titled “Notice, Listen and Connect” and U.S. Attorney’s Office Public Affairs Specialist and Community Outreach Coordinator Stacy Bishop who discussed social media safety. Warwood Principal Joey Subasic thanked the speakers for addressing those issues with the students. #TogetherWeAchieve

Shout out to Warwood School students Owen Dobrzynski Hines and Anthony Mealy for being named winners in First Lady Cathy Justice’s Artist Series St. Patrick’s Day “Friendship Essay Contest.” Dobrzynski Hines was a fourth-place winner, and he earned $50 for his effort. Mealy earned honorable mention recognition. Congratulations to these talented Viking writers!!! #TogetherWeAchieve
