The simulated workplace environment permits students the opportunity to take ownership of their individual performance as it impacts the overall success of their education, while thriving in an authentic workplace culture. Simulated Workplace also encourages local business and industry experts to join onsite review teams to assist schools in meeting their workforce needs and expectations.

The Career Center at Wheeling Park High School boasts an impressive array of 15 simulated workplace companies. These companies align with 19 diverse programs of study, collectively representing 11 out of the 16 career clusters, providing students with a comprehensive exploration of professional pathways.
CTSO's at WPHS
A Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) is an intra-curricular group integrated into Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, focusing on leadership, technical skill development, and career preparation through competitions and real-world application. These organizations serve as an extension of the classroom to prepare students for college and career success.
