The Carpentry program focuses on building the knowledge base and technical skills in all aspects of the carpentry industry. Learners will be exposed to a broad range of construction careers and foundation knowledge including basic safety; plan reading; use of tools and equipment; basic rigging; and how to employ positive work ethics in their careers. Students will have the opportunity to earn relevant industry credentials.

Park Builders is the CTE simulated workplace for Carpentry at Wheeling Park High School and is taught by Mr. Wil Myers.
