ProStart is a nationwide high school program developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) that provides students with comprehensive training in culinary arts and restaurant management. Students learn essential skills such as knife techniques, food safety protocols, menu planning, and kitchen management through hands-on experience and classroom instruction. The program also emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications, preparing students for successful careers in the hospitality industry.

The Patriot Café is the CTE simulated workplace for ProStart Restaurant Management at Wheeling Park High School and is taught by Mrs. Jill Hillberry.
