Agriculture: Animal Systems
The Animal Systems program offers experience within animal production, management, nutrition, and reproduction. The program also covers topics of animal genetics, disease prevention and management, and animal welfare. Students will utilize a variety of problem-solving techniques and hands-on experiences that will equip them with the skills needed in the animal husbandry and veterinary industries.
Agriculture: Plant Systems
The Plant Systems program covers topics of plant production, cultivation, management, biotechnology, environmental factors affecting plant growth, plant genetics, pest management, and fertilization. Students will gain hands-on experiences in labs including greenhouses and turf grass management areas. Students completing the program will be prepared for careers in crop production, horticulture, nursery landscaping, agribusiness, plant nutrition, and agriculture extension.
