Robotics
Our CTE Robotics program equips students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in robotics, encompassing foundational concepts and advanced engineering principles. The curriculum includes hands-on activities and problem-solving tasks, beginning with introductory courses that focus on VEX programming and progressing to more advanced topics like building and programming complex robots.
Students engage in experiments that demonstrate physics and mechanical properties, integrate sensors and mechanisms, and apply real-world learning through capstone projects. The program also offers courses in drone technology, covering essential knowledge for safe UAS deployment and FAA Part 107 compliance. Through a blend of theoretical and practical learning, the Robotics program prepares students for successful careers in the evolving fields of robotics and unmanned aerial systems.
