We will begin PSAT sign-ups this week. The PSAT is optional for 9th, 10th and 11th graders. Students who want to compete for Stifel Awards or National Merit Scholarships (11th grade only) should plan to take the test. If you have a child with a 504 or IEP and previously shared they want to test, they still need to officially sign-up.
The test fee is $18. Any family with financial hardship should speak with their school counselor for assistance. Students can sign-up using the google form in Schoology. Payments can be made in the School Counseling Office or online with School Cash Online. All information is in Schoology. Please note that sign-ups close on Friday, September 13 and the test will be administered the week of October 14.
Please take the time to cast a ballot for our two (2) LSIC Parent Representative vacancies. We ask for student ID numbers only to ensure families are not voting twice. We do not cross reference numbers with names; we simply remove any duplicates before tallying votes.

Representatives from four branches of the military stopped by Park during all 3 lunches for our 4th annual Military Fair to talk with students about opportunities for their future. They’ll be back again Thursday for our 2nd Signing Day Ceremony.
The Astronomy Club visited the United States Air and Space Museum in Dayton last week.
